In the first part of this series we have covered the meaning of the word rapture, and the likeness of Noah and lot in comparison to this generation in relation to the coming of the Lord and wrath of God. This part will cover the comparison of 2 scriptures that confuses a lot of people about the coming of the Lord.
There are scriptures in the bible that seems to be contradicting to one another if they were meant to be the same event and have the same meaning, we will examine them.
(Matthew 24:31) " And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. "
(1 Thessalonians 4:16) " For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first. "
In Matthew, we see Jesus " sending " his angels to " gather " only the living.
In 1 Thessalonians Jesus comes himself.
In Matthew, we see there is no voice or calling from Jesus or any angels.
In 1 Thessalonians Jesus descends with a shout and the voice of the archangel (one angel)
In Matthew there is " a " great sound of a trumpet.
In 1 Thessalonians the trump of God is used to rise up the dead and then the living.
These two scriptures are most definitely different in comparison and would be contradicting if made out to be the same. Another factor that sticks out is that from the four corners their are four angels gathering the elect from the same corners seen in Revelation chapter 7. These four angels are told by another angel that has the seal of thing God not hurt the earth until the 144,000 servant of God are sealed. These are the Jews from the 12 tribes of Israel. If the church is still there than why aren't we sealed if we are promised no wrath upon us? The Church is already gone that's why.
